Cookie Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on peoplecoreinc.com (the “Site”), what each one does, how long it lasts, and how you can change your choices. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. Some are necessary for a site to work. Others are optional: they measure how a site is used, or let a third party such as a video host provide content. First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by another company whose service appears on our pages.

Who is responsible

PeopleCore, Inc., 75 Port City Landing, Suite 110, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464, USA, is responsible for the cookies on this Site. Where a third party sets its own cookies, such as the services we use for advertising, spam protection and video hosting, that company is also responsible for its use of the data and handles it under its own privacy policy.

How we ask for your choice

  • Nothing optional runs until you choose. On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all optional cookies, reject them all, or choose by category. Until you choose, analytics scripts are switched off and videos are not loaded. Simply carrying on browsing is not taken as agreement.
  • Optional categories start switched off. In the cookie settings, nothing optional is pre-selected.
  • Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Both buttons sit side by side in the banner, in the same style.
  • Single videos. If you have not allowed video cookies, each video shows a “Play video” button. Pressing it loads only that video.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we keep optional cookies off unless you switch them on yourself.
  • Your choice is remembered for 12 months in the pc_consent cookie. We then ask again. We also ask again sooner if we start using new cookies.
  • Our record of your choice. To show that we asked properly, we keep a record of each choice for three years: a random consent ID, the date and time, the cookie list version and what you chose. It does not include your IP address or name. Your consent ID is shown in the cookie settings, so you can quote it if you contact us.

Cookies we use

Necessary (always on)

These make the Site work and keep it secure. The law allows them without consent, so they cannot be switched off. You can still block them in your browser, but parts of the Site, such as our forms, may then stop working.

Analytics (optional, off until you allow them)

These count visits and show which pages and forms are used, so we can improve the Site. We count visits with our own tool, which runs on our website. The data stays with us. We do not use these cookies for advertising, and we do not sell or share the data for advertising.

Advertising (optional, off until you allow them)

These let our advertising partner tell us when someone who saw our online ads visits the Site or contacts us, and let us show our ads to people who have visited. They are set only after you switch on advertising cookies or choose “Accept all”. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps them off. Our advertising partner handles this data under its own privacy and cookie policies.

Videos (optional, off until you allow them or press play)

Some pages show videos provided by third-party video hosting services. They are not loaded until you allow video cookies or press “Play video”, and where a service offers one, we use its privacy-enhanced player settings. Once a video loads, the hosting service receives your IP address and may set its own cookies or browser storage.

Our eLearning demos run from our own Site and set no third-party cookies. Links to social media and other sites set no cookies until you follow them.

Changing your mind

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or the button at the top of this page. If you switch a category off, we delete the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach and reload the page so nothing optional keeps running. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that happened before.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We review our cookies whenever we add or remove a service on the Site. When the list changes, we update this page and its date, and the cookie banner asks you for your choice again.
