Tom McDougal founded PeopleCore in 2007 to support the oil, chemical and gas industries with training material and professional management development. He saw organizations spend heavily on improvement initiatives, only to get results below expectations.
PeopleCore was built to help in one or both of two areas:
- Building effective training, procedures and technical systems that develop knowledge and skills
- Turning knowledge and skills into performance on the job, through organizational effectiveness and culture change
The best results come when both are addressed. Training and procedures are necessary, but rarely enough on their own to change performance and culture.
